Looks like we made it!

Well, its been a week and a day since we moved from the ghetto to the country and I am LOVING it!!!

I haven't heard one single siren, not even from the volunteer Fire Department station. There aren't any crackheads trying to get into fights with me.

This town is like half modern, half Little House on the Prairie. Even if they don't know you, people wave while driving past, or even invite me and the kid-ling to a Birthday party for one of the residents in the complex.

I've yet to run into anyone I really knew from school.

But I have been so happy here already and I know my 'Rents are happy we are here too. The Kid's estatic and making so many new little friends, even a new little "Girlfriend" named Katie, a tiny, imp-ish looking 7 year old girl who loves Fantasy movies.

Now if I can just get the hubby to be happy...I think he is still in a bit of culture shock.
